Baby thrush

This little fellow flew against our kitchen window this morning. It fell on our front step and stayed there. When he wouldn’t set off again, I went outside and lifted him on the railing. He didn’t seem hurt – just sat there and wathced my camera lens which was only about 20 cm from his beak! After I had taken several shots he apparently decided having posed long enough and flew away, into the apple tree.
He forgot to sign the model release from, though…
So glad to see your window slamming bird survived. Mine was not so lucky. :-(
You were so lucky – firsly that he survived and secondly that he sat there long enough for you to get your camera and get close to him. It`s a beautiful photo.
Well, I say “him” it might ofcourse have be a “her” mightn`t it?!
Yeah, I hate seeing an animal die – and of course even more so if it suffers first :(
I think he’s a he… Not that I know anything about it :D
