Hello world!

When you create a new WordPress blog, there’s one exemplary post in it as a default – titled “Hello world!” I think that’s very appropriate for my very first post in this brand new photoblog of mine. I’m saying “Hello” to the photographic world in a new way – hoping that at least someone will end up in this corner of the cyberspace, too.

I have posted my photos earlier, too, but not in a dedicated photoblog. I used to have a blog for my photos, but they always came with a Bible verse – so it was more about the verses than the photos. Now, in this blog, I’m planning to concentrate primarily on photos and photographing.

As the first photo here I’m giving you a serene scene from my childhood area. It’s a lake from the Middle Finland – technically not a great photo, but I love the serenity in it.
